Mon châteaumeillant se pare d’une robe profonde, grenat à reflets violets. Fermé au premier nez, il s’ouvre à l’agitation sur des notes de fruits noirs, de feuille de menthe et d’épices. En bouche, il se montre ferme et solidement charpenté par des tanins serrés.
Un vin jeune et prometteur, que l’on pourra laisser mûrir un an ou deux..

Situé au cœur de la France, à Châteaumeillant (18), le Domaine Nairaud Suberville propose une gamme étendue de vins de l’AOC Châteaumeillant gris et rouges et de vins blancs de l’IGP Val de Loire dans la Cave Bituriges.
Créé par Daniel Nairaud et Sidonie Suberville, l’exploitation viticole s’étend sur 22 hectares faisant du domaine le plus vaste de l'appellation Châteaumeillant.
Issus des cépages Gamay Noir et Pinot Noir, nos vins sont élégants et d’une belle intensité aromatique. Nous recherchons le meilleur que chaque cépage peut apporter à chaque vin, permettant les assemblages les plus subtils.

Châteaumeillant is an appellation with thousands of years of grape growing history that specializes in rosé wine known as vin gris, as well as red wines made from Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes.
In the center of France, Châteaumeillant, lies in the Indre and Cher departments, and spans across seven villages: Châteaumeillant, St-Maur, Vesdun, Champillet, Feusines, Néret and Urciers. The appellation’s 75 hectares ( acres) is predominantly comprised of sandy or clayey-sandy siliceous soils.
Vineyards in Châteaumeillant are traced to the 5th century. As the Melyan of the Biturigians, Châteaumeillant was home to the Biturican vines. The area was also an important road junction between Rome and Gaul, where wine was stored in amphorae.
