The Domus guide to CityLife

CityLife is located in a roughly square-shaped area. That’s why it’s so easy to spot on a satellite image of Milan – just like Parco Sempione and the Cimitero Monumentale. The area took on this shape in the nineteenth century to accommodate the Piazza d’Armi, which was moved from the Castello Sforzesco. Citylife brings to the urban context a new model for work and leisure, an area to be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle, with traffic circulating only underground.

At the centre of the project is the business district — three office towers in the ‘piazza delle tre torri’: torre Isozaki (il dritto, the straight one), torre Hadid (lo storto, the twi

The Residential plot is composed of 7 linear buildings set along a continuous path around two land areas: Rc1, including buildings C1- C2-C3 and Rc2 with buildings C4-C5-C6-C7. The land areas are divided by a strip of public park.

The buildings can accommodate up to luxury apartments, with common facilities.
